Caleb and his girlfriend Crystal are shopping for a new fridge, and while that might seem a rather dull everyday task to handle, nothing about this day is going to be ordinary thanks mostly to Crystal’s unashamed attitude of being a truly frigid bitch.
Crystal has always been the type of girl better seen and not heard, better fantasized about than actually known, because no matter how hot the summer might be, Crystal is truly cold. But Caleb has stuck with her, despite his buddies assuring her she’s never going to behave as hot as she looks, and it’s mostly because a guy like him never thought a girl as hot as her would stick around.
Of course Crystal pretty much runs their lives, and has serious control issues, the reason they are even having to shop for a new fridge. Constantly messing with the controls did something to the old one and it doesn’t cool anymore, but Crystal would have everyone, including the electronics store salesman, know that Caleb is the idiot who broke the fridge.
And today they are getting a new one, a better one, a more expensive one, according to Crystal. But when Rick, the helpful salesman notices the somewhat literal cold shoulder of attitude Caleb is receiving, will he help out in ways never imagined?
Showing the couple to the new Trance-tory model of refrigerator, Rick mentions how intuitive to the user the controls are, specifically the thaw feature. While Crystal has never heard of Trance-tory, Caleb is more than familiar, surprised since they were never sold locally before, mostly knowing more and more consumer advocate groups are coming out with sometimes outlandish seeming claims against the company.
But just what will happen when Rick steps away to help his stockboy with something and Crystal starts messing with the controls like she so frequently did with the last fridge? She was always called ice demon behind her back by Caleb’s friends, but Crystal might just turn out to be one very hot angel… once she’s Thawed.
