Connor was always a loner, quiet and submissive. He’s been friends with Nikki for the longest time and always wanted to be more, but was never man enough to say anything.
After the always bold Nikki grabs Connor to help her complete a Halloween challenge her sorority has going on, Connor may finally get what he always wanted… even if he isn’t as much man as something far more sinister when he gets it.
Sneaking into Phant Place, a notoriously dangerous and local haunted house with ties to the university, they both may quickly realize there are spirits there, and those spirits have been eagerly waiting for bodies like these two provide.
Connor has always been the awkward loner, even on a chilly day when most students on campus are inside, he is on the quad reading. But the chill of this day will be broken abrupt by the hottest girl Connor knows, someone he has had a crush on since the ninth grade, his friend Nikki.
Naturally Connor has never had the nerve to tell Nikki how he really feels, and to match perfectly with his submissive quiet reserved personality, Nikki has always been bold and brash, unafraid of anything. But on the night before Halloween they both may find themselves facing fears they never imagined were real, and feeling a whole lot more than just school spirit.
Grabbed by Nikki, Connor is told she needs his help to complete a Halloween challenge by Gracie the head bitch of her sorority. According to Nikki, every sorority girl has to collect something spooky from a notoriously spooky place. The one who collects the spookiest and proves where they collected it will gain all new leadership in the sorority, and Nikki knows just how to assure that she is that girl.
Unfortunately for Connor, there never has been much talking Nikki out of an idea once she has it, and that’s why he is helpless to avoid joining her later that night at the scariest place in town, a notorious house off campus that many decades before belonged to the university president.
The Phant Place, or as most students call it the Phantom Place, has fallen apart over the years, but it is such an extreme place that even jocks won’t venture there for pranks, a place that paranormal investigators have actually run away from, an actual haunted house, supposedly haunted by the old university president’s daughter who dabbled in the black arts and demonic rituals, possibly haunted by something even darker as well.
Nikki’s plan is to sneak in after dark, when the entire area near the abandoned home will be empty and free from campus security or anyone else. All she needs to do is find something spooky, prove she was there, and the Halloween challenge is over and done.
As much as Connor would never set foot in a place like Phant Place, as much common sense as he has for the dangers of such a place, even just the physical dangers of a falling apart abandoned old building, he also has no resistance when Nikki needs him, and he’d never want anything bad to happen to the raven-haired secret love of his life. So on the night before Halloween, two students will find themselves exploring Phant Place.
But just what will they discover? While Nikki has never taken the legends seriously, those legends may just take her more than just seriously, especially when while separated from Connor one of them possesses Nikki, having to expand her tiny petite body just to fit inside. What will that spirit use Nikki’s body to do? Will Connor be able to rescue her… or will he only find himself possessed by something darker that forever changes his lacking dominant qualities when it comes to a cute coed like Nikki?
In the end, the true Halloween challenge may be making it to Halloween morning with their sanity in check, and for Nikki with her body less than fully bloated full of a lot more than School Spirit.
Halloween with the Kreme ends with all new extremes in a special full length brand new tale sure to spook up all kinds of fears and fun.
