Every couple faces the decision of when to have children, but for Jack and Lucy, that decision came more than a year ago and Lucy still isn’t pregnant.
Bothered more than her husband who loves the effort of trying more than succeeding, Lucy has had enough, and so she tricks Jack into meeting with a highly successful but very unorthodox fertility doctor.
Doctor Deep practices many unusual methods, both medical and holistic, but could Lucy have sealed her own waddling fate by walking through his door? Can his special assortment of tea expand her body in ways she never imagined? And will Jack be fine with the doctor doing most of the work to finally get his wife pregnant?
Jack and Lucy have been trying to have children for over a year now, and while Jack is perfectly content to keep trying, since that’s easily his favorite part… Lucy is tired of not showing up pregnant, and she’s determined to solve the problem. But will her solution come in ways she never imagined?
Having found a fertility specialist, a holistic doctor who learned unique and proven effective skills throughout Europe and Africa, the leggy blonde has dressed up, fixed her hair, and innocently tricked her husband into going along to meet and consult with the apparently acclaimed Doctor Deep.
When Jack finds out where they are heading, having assumed it was someplace fun, he isn’t amused. Although he is amused by the ridiculous name of this doctor.
But when the married couple arrives at the small modern and nicely landscaped building, they meet a pretty ordinary man who seems dedicated to helping women achieve their pregnancy goals through many methods of fertility treatment, and who is well aware his originally Dutch last name is a bit odd.
Doctor Deep explains that his training is both medical and holistic and he has studied all manners of difficulties like Jack and Lucy face. Since they’ve both been tested and found to be perfectly alright, the problem as he sees it is more one of the mind, something of a mental block or psychological. Yet Jack and Lucy are about to find out just how unorthodox a treatment can really be, and quite possibly how fun.
With an assortment of kettles of tea, Doctor Deep claims he can begin treatment right away to help Lucy become pregnant, but first he’ll need to speak alone with Jack, get past his snarky humor over the whole situation and use hypnosis to make sure Jack is absolutely supportive of every effort it will take to get his wife pregnant… even if it isn’t him doing the job.
Doctor Deep certainly fulfills his promises, and there’ll be no lack of satisfaction from his newest clients, but just what can tea really do to prepare Lucy for impending motherhood? What can tea possibly do to prepare her body? And will it ultimately be a team effort between Doctor Deep and Jack to double down and make sure Lucy gets what she really wanted, a thorough treatment to solve all her problems and possibly create new ones, thanks to FertiliTEA?
