The Pool Toy by Kris P. Kreme

The Pool Toy by Kris P. Kreme

Emmett and Carson are neighbors in a nice neighborhood, but their feelings about each other are anything but nice. Emmett is a responsible husband, and father to the sweetest college girl. Carson is a perpetually single man in his forties who Emmett has seen leering at his daughter.

After a rash of delivery mix-ups between the two homes, Carson did the unthinkable and tossed a mis-delivered box of lawn chemical over the fence between their backyard pools, the contents exploding into and ruining Emmett’s pool.

But will another mistaken delivery give Carson everything he ever wanted by transforming Emmett’s daughter Daphne into The Pool Toy every man would love to have?

Summer has arrived and on an otherwise beautiful day with the sun bright but not too bright, the heat hot but not too hot, husband and father Emmett finds himself staring into his pool instead of enjoying it… and it’s all thanks to his idiot neighbor, Carson.

Carson had moved in about a year ago and despite the single middle-aged man’s uncanny ability to charm Emmett’s wife and daughter, Emmett couldn’t stand the man. The two of them shared a tall eight foot privacy fence between their backyard pools, and yet there was no way it separated them enough for Emmett’s tastes. He just didn’t like Carson, the guy definitely leering more than a few times at Emmett’s wife and nineteen year old daughter. But the worst behavior had come after a new delivery driver began in recent weeks and had a tendency to screw up which house packages were delivered to, the two of them often getting mail meant for the other.

That was when the lawn chemical mix Emmett had ordered arrived at Carson’s house by mistake. And instead of just bringing it over to the right house, calling or even leaving it back out for the delivery driver to correct the next time they were there… Carson tossed the mis-delivered package over that eight foot fence. It hit the edge of the concrete surround of the pool and exploded, highly dangerous and corrosive chemicals mixing into the pool water.

So now Emmett can only stare into his pool, waiting on a new delivery, one he ordered after searching around for the fastest and easiest solution to solve what he’d feared would be a very expensive problem. Fortunately Emmett had found a special chemical plasticizer polymer blend. It came in liquid form and would simply need to be poured into the pool water. Anything solid it touched like the corroded and contaminated edges of the pool would be coated in a layer of bio-orgamic preservative reagents that safely altered the corrosives while preserving structural integrity of the expensive in-ground pool.

Unfortunately until he got that delivery and treated the pool water, looking was about all anyone could do, and that included his beautiful daughter Daphne, just arriving home with her mother from a three day college choir event she was performing in.

But when Carson stops by to mention a package he has been waiting on that is late, asking if Emmett will keep an eye on it in case it shows up there, an otherwise perfect summer might be taking a turn for the truly twisted.

Arguing, annoyed about Carson screwing up his pool still, Emmett barely cares about whatever no doubt creepy package Carson is waiting on, and Carson only mentions that it’s personal and should be marked ADULT ONLY on the outside. And even though Daphne tries to calm him, thinking Carson is just a lonely single man and Daddy is overreacting, Emmett doesn’t even want to think about what the pervert neighbor might have ordered.

Yet fate may make it very clear what Carson ordered, as there once again is a simple mistake in deliveries, yet this time the mistake may change much more than just Emmett’s attitude and lead to all new frustrations with his neighbor.

Waiting next door for the supposedly most-realistic and top-of-the-line sex toy ever made, Carson is annoyed. He’s called and complained about the fact the delivery has never showed up and isn’t getting much help at all from customer service. He’s a single guy and this was a special treat for him, but after ranting on his phone he happens to hear the distinct distant sound of a glass sliding door shutting, catching Daphne from next door heading out in her bikini to lay by the pool. With her parents gone to an art museum, he leans just enough to catch a view of the gorgeous nineteen year old in that skimpy bikini… and snaps a few stealthy pictures with his phone. At least he’ll have something to pass the time until that sex toy ever arrives… and just as he is appreciating the picture of sexy young perfection next door, his doorbell rings.

Excited, taking the box out by his own pool, Carson opens it… only to discover that the delivery driver made a mistake again and this is just a large jug of chemical plasticizer polymer blend, the stupid stuff Emmett ranted to him about waiting on. And when Carson’s pent up frustration and disappointment makes him toss the opened box with the powerful plasticizer over the fence… it happens to hit the edge of the pool, exploding in an epic spray that covers not just the pool itself but Daphne laying beside that pool.

But what will Emmett think when he arrives home to see remnants of a box and what seems to be a life size realistic sex doll laying beside his pool? What will Carson think when Emmett angrily takes the supposed sex toy over to him, berating him for the bad joke of tossing it over the fence? And what will happen to Daphne, or more fittingly the Daphne Doll she has somehow become? Will Emmett ever realize he just hand delivered his own daughter to the neighbor, and will a relaxing summer get much more active and enjoyable as Daphne discovers the surprising thrill of being… The Pool Toy.
