Nicole needed a part-time job to accommodate her overnight preferences while putting herself through college. The small gaming store seemed perfect, especially when the owner Kyle needed her to start right away.
But if Nicole had any idea that this particular gaming store caters to players of SINtendo games, she may have thought twice.
Told she has to accept late-night returns and offer help to the customers, Nicole soon learns that playing SINtendo games leaves players with aftereffects they need to burn off… and she is expected to help burn them off with her body and mind.
Will Nicole ever be the same again, or is she destined to be thoroughly Stocked and Stacked?
Nicole couldn’t be happier that not only did she get the job she interviewed for but that Kyle from the small college town gaming store called her in so quickly to cover for another girl. A college girl herself working on her degree with no parents to assist, Nicole could really use the income but it’s been almost impossible to find a late-night shift part-time job that fits with her free time.
Fortunately, this gaming store should be perfect, especially since Kyle mentioned all the benefits and perks the position comes with. He’s already been low on staff with one girl on maternity leave and another calling in with apparently a stomach bug, but when Kyle tells Nicole about her duties in the overnight hours, perhaps she should be a little more skeptical of just how easy her responsibilities will be.
It seems that this particular gaming store caters to a very specific type of gamer, lending out, selling, and renting very rare games for even rarer game systems. Even though the registers have been locked and no sales or new rentals can be processed, Nicole in addition to keeping things stocked in the store will have to take late-night returns, as many of Kyle’s customers prefer a little discretion and will come in after hours. All Nicole is told she needs to worry about is writing down the game title, the name of who returned it, and the date.
She’s also told to be discrete and as helpful to the customers as she can be… which may very soon come back to make her question taking this part-time job.
When the first customer brings back a game called Silly Squeezers, he explains about SINtendo, that the games have a tendency to sometimes leave the player a little amped up, needing to work off some aftereffects… and that is precisely what Kyle meant by asking Nicole to be helpful.
But will Nicole be able to handle physically and mentally what she needs to do to help the handful of customers who come in that night? Will she find herself and her body truly freakishly altered by the time Kyle returns to relieve her of work in the morning? And has Nicole just found the job that will rapidly redefine her priorities in life and lead to unavoidable changes down the road?
