Kara is a notoriously bitchy but determined host of a popular online paranormal investigation series called Kara-normal Extremes.
But she is determined to go extreme with her career, to outgrow the limited online audience by making it big. And she’s completely fine with faking it until she makes it.
For the current episode, planning to film in a creepy old abandoned mannequin factory, Kara has decided to find a prop, some creepy thing she can hold or wear and pretend to be possessed on camera.
But when she and the evil twins, her lackluster lackeys, find a real cursed ring, will Kara be taking the idea of Faking It to all new Kara-normal Extremes this Halloween?
Kara is one assertive bitch with a cult following online, leading her own paranormal investigation series called Kara-normal Extremes. But her latest self-serving idea of how to grow her audience might just turn her entire life around in ways she can’t yet imagine.
Having the evil twins, as she calls them on their online broadcasts, Easton and Weston, meet her at a consignment store in a rundown part of town, Kara explains that they aren’t there to investigate but to find a prop… something old, something creepy, something just real looking enough to fake their audience out.
Kara has never dealt well with others, especially others thinking they know more than she does, but she can admit the idea the twins once suggested of her pretending to be possessed on one of their Kara-normal Extremes episodes is a good idea. She can flail around, look sexy, roll her eyes back and tease the audience. It’s a much better idea than nudity, which despite their online only broadcasts being fully uncensored, she simply is not going to do.
After they find the right prop, Kara explains they will head down the road to a place they’ve been meaning to explore in an episode just for sheer creepiness, the old Manny’s Mannequin Manufacturing factory.
After wandering the cluttered aisles of dusty old junk, they find the perfect prop to fake out their audience, a creepy little bronze looking ring that would be perfect for Kara to slip on after discovering and go into a possession act, convincing enough for her horny male audience to enjoy.
But the man working the consignment store has a rather silly and bizarrely serious warning about the ring Kara has found. It’s cursed… but not regular cursed, it’s fake cursed which she finds fittingly amusing.
Despite her assertions of it being just what they need, for a prop, the man warns her never to let it near her skin, certainly don’t wear it, because the fake curse will fake curse her and it’s very fake serious.
Figuring the guy is weirder than the evil twins, Kara and the twins buy the ring and are soon beginning their latest Kara-normal Extremes episode at Manny’s Mannequin Manufacturing. But just what will happen when Kara slips the bronze ring on her finger, planning to act possessed? Is it possible the fake curse will turn Kara… fake herself? And upon seeing an opportunity like no other, will the evil twins have some evil fun with their bitchy boss?
One thing is certain, those tuning in to watch Kara-normal Extremes are going to see some head turning surprises in ways they haven’t imagined, but ways they won’t soon forget… and Kara is going to truly fake out her audience and live up to the name Kara-normal in quite a few extremes.
