Over 10,000 Words of Kreme!
Small towns bring BIG mysteries among other twisted reveals this St. Patrick’s Day… but will the mysteries lead back to a familiar foe? You couldn’t wish for a more satisfying tale.
Madison is a very smart young woman in the small town of Saint Patrick, which this year promises a St. Patrick’s Day festival like no other… thanks to a mysterious new locally produced scent.
The Chorus… sing a whole new tune, and smell great doing it, goes the tagline of this gender-neutral scent. But Madison smells a dangerous mystery, and she has never been one to avoid solving mysteries. It’s especially clear that something sinister is going on with this new smell, after Madison witnesses Dr. Curtis, the high school science teacher doing something out of character and very perverse one afternoon.
Being a smart girl with a passion for the sciences, it’s not unlike her to find herself in the school lab after hours, but when Madison sees Dr. Curtis mixing together strange chemicals like a mad scientist, plotting something creepy, the only explanation for his bizarre behavior is the smell… that pungent aroma that just has to be from the nearly empty bottle of The Chorus he somehow got his hands on early.
When Dr. Curtis practically attacks a flat-chested classmate of hers and splashes the poor girl causing freakish breast growth, all while he cackles and grins, Madison gets out of there, swiping the bottle to figure out just what madness has overtaken the usual good guy.
At home, she’s quick to excuse herself to her bedroom upstairs, her father mentioning the dress he had altered for her upon request, her twin brother being his usual annoying self. But in her room, Madison is unpacking the lab equipment and bottle of The Chorus to examine the sources of the smell, to solve this deadly mystery of corrupting influence.
Calling her friend Becky over, the two are soon testing and looking into what makes up The Chorus, but Becky hasn’t seen what Madison saw… no one could imagine what somehow Dr. Curtis did. Unfortunately when Madison’s father asks her if she has tried on the dress, there’s no choice but to pause and try it on.
Madison has always been smart but the looks she gets after a rather quick maturing six months has definitely only dulled her patience. Referred to as little miss big tits by her twin brother, the beautiful redhead definitely creates stirs in boys her age, and the green dress she wears for every festival needed alterations. But while in the bathroom off her bedroom changing, how could Madison ever realize the pressure chamber she had that bottle of The Chorus in would explode, exposing everyone in the house to a smell that already turned Dr. Curtis into a mad scientist.
Witnessing the perverse attitude change in her father, Becky is soon being just as weird, each seeming to change thoughts and focuses, each embracing a growing madness that Madison knows will corrupt everyone in town if she doesn’t solve it.
But is there any truth to the rumors of an odd little man behind The Chorus that bought the old abandoned mall on the outskirts of town? One of her first mysteries she tried to solve was what really took place at the old mall nearly twenty years before… when witnesses reported an actual leprechaun granting wishes and corrupting everyone in absolute chaos one night.
Could all the clues and puzzle pieces be leading to one picture even a brilliant mind like Madison’s can’t handle… the truth behind The Chorus, where the name comes from, the little man chasing her friends away from the old mall… and a growing conspiracy that may threaten everyone in town this St. Patrick’s Day?
There’s wishes to make, innocence to take, if Lenny’s what you crave, this story is like cake! That’s right… he’s BACK!
