Eric Warner has never been a popular kid, but always had the top grades and sharpest intelligence of anyone at his troubled city high school. Getting himself thrown into detention is easy enough for a kid like Eric, a prank so severe it earns him legendary status and the 30-day detention stint, right as a certain teacher’s turn has come up for detention monitoring. And that is where Eileen comes in.
Of all the teachers at the troubled high school, Eileen is the youngest, teaching all of the sciences from remedial to advanced college prep chemistry courses. She embraces science in all aspects, recognizes that science rules the universe, dictates the behaviors of even the worst student, whether they care to acknowledge that fact or not. But Eileen has no idea that her physical beauty has set her right in the sights of one teenager with more than just a lust to enjoy her being the detention monitor.
Eric Warner has an elaborate plan, and step one was getting himself thrown into detention just as Eileen’s month of monitoring duty began.
