Get ready for a Hot Shots sales pitch that will satisfy your need for speed, though one customer may not be climbing inside a new car at the end of the day.

Adeline is both nervous and excited, pacing a bit on her first day at the job she beat out countless other applicants to get. Fresh out of college, she’d interviewed with several dozen others, all competing to get just a few available sales jobs at the most promising new dealership in town, a Trance-tory Transportation dealership, specializing in every single make, model, and luxury one could ever want all in one place.

And while so far her first day has been slow, Adeline having already watched fellow sales specialists Lindsey and Kendra head off to various parts of the large property to try and get their sales, Adeline is about to get the most valuable buyer of the day.

Spotting the man wandering the main luxury showroom, where only the most expensive and lavish vehicles are kept, cordoned off and polished, her boss Charlie is sending Adeline out to make the sale.

So straightening up her button-up blouse, pressing the professional creases on her black skirt, Adeline is quickly putting everything she knows and feels confident about in making a sale to the test.

Meeting Colton, he seems like the type who knows what he wants, and while his eye is on the incredibly fancy Ferrari on the showroom floor, Adeline knows she has to push the sale, to talk cars, to mention the features, the add-ons, the customization options, and generally present all the reasons Colton needs, rather than merely wants a new car from Trance-tory Transportation.

Naturally a big part of being successful in sales, Adeline knows, is as Charlie puts it, getting out there and selling yourself. She has to form a connection, a kinship, and so that is what she does, rattling off all the knowledge and expertise she could ever need, feeling pretty good about how the sale talk is going.

But while Colton does seem to be nodding and agreeing, as they look at one luxury automobile after another, is his eye actually on something very different? What’s taking Lindsey so long selling a simple panel-van out on the lot? And why is Kendra’s buyer seeming to test out the suspension on that new pickup truck?

At Trance-tory Transportation, the buyer gets what the buyer wants, and when Colton walks back up after speaking numbers with Charlie, holding receipts to show he just purchased Adeline, will her first day on the job get more intense than she ever imagined?
