Missing the Barnyard Ball by Kris P. Kreme

It’s time for the annual Barnyard Ball, a local town tradition Madelyn has grown up with. Everyone wears costumes befitting a barn, and while her boyfriend Weston shot down the idea of dressing as cowboy and cowgirl, he isn’t sure the ones they chose will be any less ridiculous.

For Madelyn, it’s the first year she had a date for the ball, and she looks adorably cute in her normal little cow costume.

But how normal is that costume? As Weston squeezes into his bull costume, he talks about the crazy demon-dressed guy that sold the costumes cheap, claiming they were cursed… and like it or not, they both may be embracing their costumes in kinky ways, definitely Missing the Barnyard Ball.

Every August for as long as Madelyn remembers there has been the Barnyard Ball, a funny local event where everyone uses the barnyard to inspire the costumes they wear. And this is the first year Madelyn has had a date to take her, though her boyfriend Weston is less than enthused about the whole silly thing.

Having only moved into town in the past year, Weston knows nothing about the traditional costume ball, and really doesn’t understand what the big deal is. He’d personally rather spend some alone time with his cute girlfriend, maybe play their own little roleplaying games… not that anything is shaking Madelyn from her plans.

Already having dressed in her little cow costume, Madelyn is looking adorably cute, certainly not a revealing costume or anything, the little cow pattern skirt at least showing off her legs, but otherwise Madelyn as sweet as ever. But Weston knows he can’t put it off any longer after she insistently reminds him to get dressed, not wanting to be late or miss the Barnyard Ball.

It’s as Weston calls out from the next room while changing into the bull costume he bought cheap, that Madelyn seems to be quickly getting into character a bit more and more.

As Weston chuckles and tells his sweet girlfriend about the ridiculous looking guy who sold him the costumes they are going to be wearing, Madelyn finds herself thirsty, pouring some of the milk Weston bought at the store for their month… and each one she drinks seems to be failing to satisfy her increasing thirst.

But squeezing into the tight bull costume is one thing, talking about the dopey demon-dressed costume guy that sold the costumes, claiming they were on sale because they were cursed is another. And Madelyn meanwhile is getting less and less concerned about where the gallons of milk she is slowly but surely pouring and drinking are going.

Will Madelyn and Weston truly get into costume, in more ways than they ever imagined? Will they make it out the door, or will other interests and perverted pursuits soon have them both Missing the Barnyard Ball?
